Artificial Intelligence is the art of making machines capable of learning through experience, i.e, taking input data, processing it and applying it to new data. And all this happens without involving a single human in the loop.

Artificial intelligence will lead to automation of many jobs, and sights of robots performing all the miscellaneous jobs for us will be common. The hardmanship of many risky jobs will also be taken away by machines. This will definitely lead to more productivity, more accuracy and more royalty.

AI systems have the power to demonstrate all human intelligence: planning, learning, reasoning, problem solving, knowledge representation, perception, motion, and manipulation and, to a less appreciable extent - social intelligence and creativity. In such a scenario a constant question is, to what extent can we humans take this facility, such that it doesn't harm us back? Yes, the side effects of AI are debatable, but certainly we cannot deny its perks.

Data is everywhere. Millions of data is produced everyday, and this will increase in future. So, it's beyond human capability to process all the data. Therefore, machines do that for us in a more promising way than ever. The ability of a machine to learn from the data itself and then use it, is called Machine learning. AI and ML complement each other and walk hand in hand.

  • 2. MEDICATION: Hyper-personalised medication is possible with AI where we can pinpoint the problem and treat effectively with accurate dosage and treatment.

  • 3. SECURE INTERNET: The internet we use today is prone to hacking. AI is looking forward to create quantum internet which will be more secure from hackers. Technologies like Quantum key distribution(QKD) are used nowadays that provide better encryption.

  • 4. AI APPS: Many apps use AI, like Google Maps which updates itself every second according to the information received and shows the fastest route to reach a place. Then there are AI voice detection apps like Microsoft's Cortana, Amazon's Alexa and Apple's Siri among others.

    • There are many other significant uses of AI that already influence our lives in a great way, and leading technical companies promise that this effect will be ever-increasing. We wish to see changes that eradicate poverty and increase the standards of the society as a whole. AI companies are also actively looking forward to contributing to climate and environment conservation, so that the world becomes a better place for everyone.
